The Castles at Pembroke, Carew and Manorbier are all reminders of our ancient history and well worth a visit. A short coastal drive brings you to the picturesque town of Tenby from where you can visit the island of Caldy. In under an hour you can reach Skomer and Skokholm Islands in north Pembrokeshire to see the Puffins, manx and shearwaters. The National Trust Gardens at Colby Lodge near Amroth are well worth seeing in the Spring with lovely walks through the grounds.. |
