Bowett Farm is a spacious farm house that has been in the Morris family for four generations. After 12 seasons Ann is taking a back seat from running the B&B and her daughter Kirsty has taken over the reins, drawing on as many years of experience from her travels around the world. Guests have their own entrance, living room and bedroom with private bathroom, plus use of the gardens and sun house. The house itself dates back to 1881 and is furnished with family antiques. We have a choice of three bedrooms and can offer you: - a double room with a restored antique half-tester bed and private bathroom
- a twin/double room, with private bathroom
- a single room with private bathroom
Each room has a new matresse and luxurious bedlinen. They come with big fluffy towels, towelling robes, radio, hairdryer, and hospitality trays - so a fresh cup of tea is never far away. Bathrooms come stocked with soap, shampoo and conditioner. Drying facilities are available for cyclists and walkers, with packed lunches and luggage collection being available by arrangement. For evening relaxation guests are welcome to walk through our bluebell wood, watch the sunset from the sun house or enjoy their own private sitting room which has a television, DVD and plenty of reading material. Breakfast is served in the dining room and we like to ensure that guests leave ready to fuel their day out in Pembrokeshire! We offer a freshly prepared breakfast of cereals, fruit salad, yoghurt, aga cooked breakfast, bread and preserves. As far a possible all food is sourced locally from within Pembrokeshire. Whilst we do not do evening meals there are many good eating places nearby and we are happy to book a table for you. Some of the local gems include the Stackpole Inn, Speculation Inn, Kings Arms Hotel, Point House and Highgate Inn, the latter being a 5-minute walk from the farm. Bowett is situated 1-mile from the historic town of Pembroke and is on the border of the Pemborokeshire Coast National Park. We offer Bed & Breakfast from £37.50 per person for a double. |
